
Though, Chelsea manage to hold on to a draw against Valencia but now they need to score at least two goal in the away fixture at Spain to feel at ease in their quarterfinal clash. After going down in the first half, Chelsea started the second half pretty well, making chances after chances. The moment finally arrives in the 53rd minute of the match when in-form Didier Drogba once again scored the goal for Blues, much to the delight of Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho.
Chelsea would have scored another 2-3 goals if the finishing were up to the mark but surprisingly they were unable to grab any chances and match ended on a 1-1 draw, giving Valencia a life line to reach the semi final of Champions league if they manage to hold or better able to beat Chelsea in their home den.
